PRIVATE STRUCTURE. Casale Le Conce is located at about 560 m above sea level, in an impressive territory where the slopes of Monte Amiata meet and meld gently with the wild Maremma that, on one side, slopes down towards the Tuscan coast and, on the other, extends to the rolling lands of the Val d'Orcia. It is a rustic rural home with a welcoming interior, air-conditioned bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen that opens out to a large portico where you can enjoy alfresco meals in the tranquillity of the well-kept garden, full of a multitude of plants, Mediterranean herbs and fruit trees. The pride of the property is the splendid modern swimming pool with a solarium that extends like a terrace over the infinite panorama, framing a breathtaking view over the picturesque hills of the Val d'Orcia, giving guests a fascinating anticipation of the numerous possible itineraries. Casale Le Conce is the ideal place for enjoying privacy and tranquillity without having to forego the amenities in the immediate vicinity as it is located just outside the borgo of Castel del Piano, about 800 m from shops, restaurants and cafés, just a short walk away. Within easy reach of the property are many places of interest that characterise the immediate surroundings, from delightful little medieval towns like Abbadia San Salvatore, Arcidosso, Santa Fiora, Montalcino, Sovana or Pienza, to countless spa resorts like Saturnia, Bagni San Filippo or Bagno Vignoni, to the Tyrrhenian coast and to parks and nature reserves, gem of this splendid strip of Tuscan territory. NB. Next to the house is a building where the owner lives that is part of the same structure, with independent access. Furthermore, the two areas of the garden are well bounded by hedges and flower beds to guarantee privacy.

CASALE LE CONCE HAS BEEN SUBJECTED TO A CHECK-UP BY A TECHNICAL RESPONSIBLE BEFORE THE BEGINNING OF THE SEASON, TO ENSURE CONSISTENCY OF THE DESCRIPTION, ACCESSORIES LISTED ON THIS PAGE AND THEIR PRESENT STATE OF OPERATION/MAINTENANCE, TO GUARANTEE QUALITY, CLEANLINESS AND COMFORTS TO ALL CLIENTS WHO WILL STAY HERE.

Interior:

The villa has two floors connected by an internal staircase. The entrance on the ground floor goes into a hallway that leads, on the left, into the living room (with double sofa bed) and, on the right, to the dining room connected to the kitchen. Both these rooms have access to the portico through French windows. The ground floor is completed by a bathroom with shower. The upper floor consists of the sleeping area, with two double bedrooms (with queensize bed), one with en-suite bathroom with shower, another double bedroom and a bathroom with tub.

Park:

The park of Casale Le Conce extends over a total area of about 2000 sq m on two terraces, of which the lower one is occupied by the pool and a large expanse of lawn brightened by typical shrubs and rose bushes. From the gate with independent entrance, you come to the parking area near the entrance to the house. Outside the French windows is the large portico arranged with seating area, dining table and a stone barbecue. In front is the garden with manicured lawn, fruit trees and potted plants. In an adjoining annex is the laundry room. Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.

Swimming Pool:

The super panoramic swimming pool overlooking the Val d'Orcia, open from the first Saturday of May to the last Saturday of September, lies on a terrace at a lower level than the house, which is about 15 m away and can be reached across the garden and down a short flight of steps. The beach entry pool measures 13 x 5 m and slopes down to a maximum depth of 1.40 m. It is lined in PVC, with internal lights and chlorine purification. Surrounding it is the heat-resistant resin-paved solarium, bordered on two sides by dense Mediterranean vegetation and equipped with sunbeds, umbrellas and a solar-powered shower.

Situated on the side of Monte Amiata, the medieval borgo of Castel del Piano is a health resort surrounded by chestnut woods. It is an ideal holiday spot in all seasons thanks to its natural beauty (trekking paths, ski pistes, nature reserves etc). We are in a geographical area characterized by different scenarios: from the mountain top to the valleys sloping gradually towards the Maremma, on one side, and to the Val d'Orcia, on the other, until you get to vast cultivations of olives and vines. The property is an excellent starting point for the spa towns of Saturnia, Bagno Vignoni, Bagni San Filippo, Chianciano Terme and San Casciano dei Bagni, known for their exclusive wellness centres and spas. You can also find history, art, culture, cuisine and typical local products enclosed in the villages of Pienza, Montalcino, Sovana, Scansano and, towards southern Tuscany, Montepulciano, Sarteano and Cetona. Siena and Grosseto are both about an hour's drive away, as is the Maremma Regional Park and the beaches of Marina di Grosseto, Talamone and Castiglione della Pescaia. Many discoveries found in the immediate vicinity relating to the Paleolithic, Neolithic and the Apennine civilization and the Etruscan and Roman periods, make ancient origins of Castel del Piano. Perhaps the Etruscans exploited the mines of cinnabar (mercury) of Mount Amiata and even the earth "tubular" located near the village. 890, Casale Plana (Castel del Piano) is among the possessions of the great Benedictine-Cistercian Abbey of Abbadia San Salvatore. The Palio of Castel del Piano is held every year on September 8 and is preceded by the "parade", which is the allegorical representation of historical events between 1330 and 1571.

SHORT STAYS and NON-WEEKLY STAYS:
For some periods it is possible to make shorter stays STARTING FROM 5 NIGHTS (periods highlighted in grey on the calendar). For some properties it is possible to book online, for other properties it is possible to send a booking request, which will be subject to acceptance by Emma Villas. One of our booking operators will answer the clients within 24 hours.

WEEKLY RENTALS NON SAT - SAT STAYS:
Exclusively for the periods marked in grey on the calendar, it will be possible to book different periods, rather than the regular Saturday - Saturday (for instance: check-in Wednesday - Check-out Wednesday). Also in this case, for some properties it is possible to book online, for other properties it is possible to send a booking request, which will be subject to acceptance by Emma Villas within 24 hours.

The booking requests for one week stay during July and August are subject to approval.
