PRIVATE STRUCTURE (lease only). La Tana del Ghiro is a large welcoming villa, just outside Monteleone, a charming little medieval borgo in a magnificent panoramic position in the province of Forlì-Cesena. It is said that in the 19th century it was frequented by the English poet, Lord George Byron. Stone, clay and wood are the materials that have been used for this welcoming, newly-built structure, where attention to detail and a harmonious combination of colours create a warm domestic atmosphere. The property consists of two buildings, a few metres one from the other. During your stay you can relax and enjoy yourself in the pleasant outdoor areas or by the pool. The property, surrounded by greenery, is the ideal environment to rest body and mind, as well as to recuperate energy. The view is enchanting, in fact the property is located in a setting of hills where nature is the predominant element. During your stay in the villa you can enjoy an environment away from the chaos of the city, with silence and peace accompanying you throughout your holiday. Entering in full contact with the surrounding nature, you will be enraptured by the morning birdsong, by the rustle of the leaves and by the surrounding greenery.

Interior:

The villa consists of a main building and an annex. VILLA: The main building has two floors. In front of the main entrance that leads, on the right, to the reading room there is a large brightly-lit veranda characterized by expansive glass walls. From the reading room you continue to the dining room and then to the kitchen with the laundry and a half bath. Also on the ground floor, but with independent entrance, is a double bedroom with divisible bed and en-suite bathroom with tub with shower. Two staircases lead to the upper floor, one on the veranda and a narrow, spiral one in the kitchen. Upstairs are two doubles and a twin with joinable beds, all with en-suite bathrooms (two with tub with shower and one with shower box and a large corner tub), a large sitting room and a study. ANNEX: located under the porch by the pool, are five bedrooms (three doubles, a double with divisible bed, a twin with joinable beds), each with en-suite bathroom with tub with shower.

Park:

La Tana del Ghiro is surrounded by a garden of 4000 sq m, completely bordered along the perimeter by luxuriant hedges, guaranteeing privacy and yet not depriving you of the enchanting panorama of the Romagna hills. In front of the automatic entrance gate is a large outdoor parking area, with space for about ten cars, located near the entrance to the villa. You will be welcomed by a well-kept garden full of flower beds, flowering plants and bushes of Mediterranean herbs. Spending your holidays in the property you will come into full contact with the surrounding nature, you will be enraptured by the morning birdsong, the rustling leaves and the lush greenery. Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.

Swimming Pool:

The swimming pool occupies a central place in the beautiful garden in front of the villa, and is just a few metres from both buildings. The rectangular pool, measuring 15 x 5 m with a maximum depth of 1,30 m, is lined in PVC and has chlorine purification and large Roman steps for access to the water. Surrounding it is the terracotta-paved sunbathing area, equipped with sunbeds, deck chairs and a gazebo with a table, perfect for outdoor meals. There is a cold-water shower. The pool is available from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October.

We were very pleased with the property as it met our needs and our family was very comfortable staying there. The garden was lovely and well maintained. The view is fabulous and location allowed for privacy and a very quiet environment for relaxation. The only issue that we had was the unreliable Wi-Fi .

This was a perfect property for our family. We loved the quiet rural site. The kitchen and house was well equipped and met our needs. My only suggestion would be to include a list of local restaurants and activities before arriving because we do not speak Italian and discovered some things too late to make reservations or to participate. Overall a lovely property with an amazing view.the house was very clean, garden and pool well maintained and beautiful.

Zer0Dep stands for "Zero deposit"; it is a coverage which replaces the security deposit and which is therefore mandatory. The benefits of this guarantee are: you do not pay the security deposit on arrival: neither in cash nor by immobilising a substantial amount on your credit card limit;
  • you are covered in case of any damage to the property caused by you or members of your group/family during your stay (up to the maximum limit of 1,500 euros);
  • you avoid any dispute on the responsibility of the damage and its quantification during check-out;
  • you can enjoy your villa holiday in greater toughtlessly.
