Description:

PRIVATE STRUCTURE (lease only). Villa Del Lentisco is a recently renovated villa in pure Mediterranean style, with simplicity and linearity of shapes and colours, divided into two independent apartments. It is located near the coastal road connecting Santa Maria di Leuca and Castro and is characterized by a front patio delineated by arches overlooking a wonderful view of the sea, just the thing to brighten up your breakfast or lunch. This same patio leads to the sand-coloured infinity pool where you can relax with hydromassage jets and from here, on a clear day, you can even catch a glimpse of the Greek coast. The clean, simple Mediterranean style and the white of the walls harmonize with the green of the park and, indoors, with the large living area overlooking the sea and pool.

Interior:

From the entrance of the main building, guests enter directly into the spacious and bright living area, from which the swimming pool and the sea are clearly visible through a large glass window. Adjacent to the living room is the kitchen, with direct access to the outdoor spaces, and a guest bathroom. From the living area, guests reach the two available bedrooms: one double bedroom with balcony and direct outdoor access, and one double bedroom with a third additional bed, featuring a window with sea view. The bedrooms share a bathroom with shower.

Park:

The garden is fully fenced and covers approximately 2,000 sq m. The white colour of the fence with a typical Mediterranean “scratched” effect enhances the typical plants of mastic (lentisco in Italian), from which the structure takes its name, as well as the flowering plants and palm trees that lift up your spirits while outside. Near the patio, equipped with table and chairs, and the pool area is a stone barbecue ideal for preparing delicious local delicacies to be enjoyed in the spacious outdoor areas, perhaps with a well-known, typical local wine. Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.

Swimming Pool:

The beautiful infinity pool is located near the outdoor patio and is clearly visible from the indoor living area. The rectangular pool measures 8 x 4 m with a constant depth of about 1.30 m and is accessed via 2 easy steps. The surrounding sunbathing area has sunbeds and seating as well as 3 outdoor, cold-water showers. The pool has salt water and hydromassage function; the sand colour and the suggestive evening lighting create an enchanting atmosphere. Ideal for relaxing under the sun during the day with the beautiful view of the sea and, in the evening, with the hydromassage jets before enjoying a well earned rest. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday of October.

Location and distances


Santa Maria di Leuca (from the Greek “Leucos” which means white) is one of the most exclusive and renowned resorts in Puglia. Since 2006, the territory of Santa Maria di Leuca has been part of the Puglia Regional Park, called ''Costa Otranto-Sant Maria di Leuca-Bosco di Tricase'', established for the purpose of safeguarding the east coast of the Salento peninsula, rich in precious architectural assets and in animal and plant species. There are many beautiful nineteenth-century villas, built in different styles, visible to those strolling along the streets of Santa Maria di Leuca that lead to the beautiful promenade. In this area are restaurants and pizzerias where you can sample the typical dishes of the Salento cuisine and visit the many kinds of shops located in the area. Unmissable and suggestive are the boat trips to the many natural caves and the organized dives to admire the enchanting seabed. Magic becomes reality when you come to the large Piazzale Santuario where your gaze loses itself in the immenisty of the embrace between the Ionian and Adriatic sea. In this piazza stands the imposing Basilica of Santa Maria de Finibus Terrae, built between 1720 and 1755, with paintings dating back to 1898, and the 48.60 m high lighthouse of Leuca, activated in 1866. Two flights of stairs, each one 300 steps, connect the sanctuary to the historic old port. The two stairways are separated by an artificial waterfall, opened on special occasions. Just a 30-minute drive away are the charming towns of Gallipoli and Otranto overlooking, respectively, the Ionian and the Adriatic Seas and well-known for the many clubs that enliven the Salento nightlife. 45 minutes away is Lecce, the largest cultural centre of the Salento and the easternmost provincial capital of Italy. An art city, it boasts numerous monuments and places of historical and cultural interest and is also known for its rich architecture and for the exuberance of the many, typically 17th century, churches and buildings in the old town centre.

Description:
PRIVATE STRUCTURE (lease only). Villa Del Lentisco is a recently renovated villa in pure Mediterranean style, with simplicity and linearity of shapes and colours, divided into two independent apartments. It is located near the coastal road connecting Santa Maria di Leuca and Castro and is characterized by a front patio delineated by arches overlooking a wonderful view of the sea, just the thing to brighten up your breakfast or lunch. This same patio leads to the sand-coloured infinity pool where you can relax with hydromassage jets and from here, on a clear day, you can even catch a glimpse of the Greek coast. The clean, simple Mediterranean style and the white of the walls harmonize with the green of the park and, indoors, with the large living area overlooking the sea and pool.

Interior:
From the entrance of the main building, guests enter directly into the spacious and bright living area, from which the swimming pool and the sea are clearly visible through a large glass window. Adjacent to the living room is the kitchen, with direct access to the outdoor spaces, and a guest bathroom. From the living area, guests reach the two available bedrooms: one double bedroom with balcony and direct outdoor access, and one double bedroom with a third additional bed, featuring a window with sea view. The bedrooms share a bathroom with shower.

Park:
The garden is fully fenced and covers approximately 2,000 sq m. The white colour of the fence with a typical Mediterranean “scratched” effect enhances the typical plants of mastic (lentisco in Italian), from which the structure takes its name, as well as the flowering plants and palm trees that lift up your spirits while outside. Near the patio, equipped with table and chairs, and the pool area is a stone barbecue ideal for preparing delicious local delicacies to be enjoyed in the spacious outdoor areas, perhaps with a well-known, typical local wine. Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.

Swimming Pool:
The beautiful infinity pool is located near the outdoor patio and is clearly visible from the indoor living area. The rectangular pool measures 8 x 4 m with a constant depth of about 1.30 m and is accessed via 2 easy steps. The surrounding sunbathing area has sunbeds and seating as well as 3 outdoor, cold-water showers. The pool has salt water and hydromassage function; the sand colour and the suggestive evening lighting create an enchanting atmosphere. Ideal for relaxing under the sun during the day with the beautiful view of the sea and, in the evening, with the hydromassage jets before enjoying a well earned rest. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday of October.

Location and distances

Santa Maria di Leuca (from the Greek “Leucos” which means white) is one of the most exclusive and renowned resorts in Puglia. Since 2006, the territory of Santa Maria di Leuca has been part of the Puglia Regional Park, called ''Costa Otranto-Sant Maria di Leuca-Bosco di Tricase'', established for the purpose of safeguarding the east coast of the Salento peninsula, rich in precious architectural assets and in animal and plant species. There are many beautiful nineteenth-century villas, built in different styles, visible to those strolling along the streets of Santa Maria di Leuca that lead to the beautiful promenade. In this area are restaurants and pizzerias where you can sample the typical dishes of the Salento cuisine and visit the many kinds of shops located in the area. Unmissable and suggestive are the boat trips to the many natural caves and the organized dives to admire the enchanting seabed. Magic becomes reality when you come to the large Piazzale Santuario where your gaze loses itself in the immenisty of the embrace between the Ionian and Adriatic sea. In this piazza stands the imposing Basilica of Santa Maria de Finibus Terrae, built between 1720 and 1755, with paintings dating back to 1898, and the 48.60 m high lighthouse of Leuca, activated in 1866. Two flights of stairs, each one 300 steps, connect the sanctuary to the historic old port. The two stairways are separated by an artificial waterfall, opened on special occasions. Just a 30-minute drive away are the charming towns of Gallipoli and Otranto overlooking, respectively, the Ionian and the Adriatic Seas and well-known for the many clubs that enliven the Salento nightlife. 45 minutes away is Lecce, the largest cultural centre of the Salento and the easternmost provincial capital of Italy. An art city, it boasts numerous monuments and places of historical and cultural interest and is also known for its rich architecture and for the exuberance of the many, typically 17th century, churches and buildings in the old town centre.

Appena arrivati la struttura si è rivelata più bella del previsto. Il proprietario è stato molto accogliente sempre disponibile e mai troppo invadente... Per la prima volta abbiamo trovato una location meglio delle foto presenti. Il posto era davvero un sogno... Sia Emma Villas che il proprietario ci ha reso il soggiorno perfetto

ZER0DEP COVER - by Emma Villas (Mandatory) 99€ each reservation This guarantee protects you and allows you to have a tranquil holiday. Zer0Dep stands for "Zero deposit"; it is a coverage which replaces the security deposit and which is therefore mandatory. The benefits of this guarantee are: you do not pay the security deposit on arrival: neither in cash nor by immobilising a substantial amount on your credit card limit;
  • you are covered in case of any damage to the property caused by you or members of your group/family during your stay (up to the maximum limit of 1,500 euros);
  • you avoid any dispute on the responsibility of the damage and its quantification during check-out;
  • you can enjoy your villa holiday in greater toughtlessly.
