Description:
RECEPTIVE STRUCTURE. From a humble farmhouse to a prestigious country house destined for unforgettable stays, Casa Pilar arises from the remains of a typical farmhouse of the Marche countryside that had been abandoned and reduced to decay. The name itself, "Pilar", was inspired by the female character of the famous novel by Hemingway, "For Whom the Bell Tolls". Just as Pilar, a strong woman and consoling mother, forgets the pain of the past by inviting one to new life, so this house, which bears her name, wants to give new life to the old farmhouse and offer a holiday in the name of a renewed authenticity. The new house has been completely rebuilt following the most modern anti-seismic guidelines and in full respect of the wonderful country in which it lies. Every brick, every tile, every piece of furniture has been salvaged, restored and completely reintegrated into the new structure, which thus maintains the authentic characteristics of the previous one. Everything has been designed to have minimal environmental impact: a photovoltaic system supplies electricity to the house and a pergola is also equipped with photovoltaic panels, destined to the parking and charging of electric cars and e-bikes. The furnishing reflects the owners' passion for salvaging the old and giving it new life, with particular attention to elements of modern design perfectly balanced with the pieces of furniture salvaged from the old farmhouse.
Please Note: when the property is rented in this solution no other guests will be present on site.

Interior:
The house has three floors, measuring 220 sq m. On the ground floor is a large portico (about 50 sq m), overlooking the beautiful infinity pool and allowing you to fully enjoy the garden. The portico is equipped with a built-in kitchen and a large table for outdoor dining. In the entrance hall on the ground floor is a pool table, a bookcase, a piano and a hi-fi system. A small sofa, under the staircase up to the first floor, completes the furnishings of the room which has direct access out to the portico. Also on the ground floor is a bathroom with a built-in shower and the laundry room. The staircase leads up to the first floor with a beautiful open-plan area consisting of a kitchen with island, a dining table and a living room with fireplace, TV with Netflix connection and two sofas. A staircase in wood and iron leads up to the third floor with two double bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom with shower. In one of the bedrooms is a loft for an additional bed.
Park:
The exterior of the property, completely fenced, is level around the house but otherwise characterized by slight terracing, mostly lawn and with a part in gravel. The large covered portico of about 50 sq m allows you to enjoy the property in the open air, with outdoor kitchen, large table with glass top and chairs of modern design. The beautiful infinity pool is located just a few metres from the portico from where you can enjoy a refreshing breeze, even on the hottest days, while admiring the enchanting panorama and wild nature (such as the ravines that can be seen in the distance).
Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.
Swimming Pool:
The swimming pool is located in front of the portico which is about 3 m away. Rectangular and measuring 13,5 x 5 m with a constant depth of 1,40 m, it is lined in reinforced PVC, purified with salt and electrolysis and has an internal ladder for access to the water. The solarium area is equipped with sunbeds, deck chairs and umbrella. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October.
