On top of a hill in Montelupo Albese, in the heart of the Langhe, an old ciabot (small construction among the vineyards), once called "Little London" after an elderly London artist who had retired here after the war to paint, has been transformed into the current Villa Tramonto Albese. The villa overlooks the wonderful territory which, with its seductive panoramas, became a Unesco World Heritage Site in 2014 and framing this unique microcosm, made up of vineyards and places in which man and nature have always coexisted to the best of their possibilities, is the Alpine arc whose highest peaks are clearly visible and recognizable. Looking downhill, the view sweeps over the magnificent scenery of the Langhe, Roero and Monferrato where the great Italian Piedmontese wines are produced, above all: Barolo and Barbaresco. This is therefore the privileged observation point of Villa Tramonto Albese, a sort of "nest" ready to welcome guests for a relaxing and peaceful holiday. The villa, small but equipped with all comforts, has a welcoming furnished veranda which opens out in front of the swimming pool in the large, completely- fenced garden full of plants and flowers.

Interior:

Once past the main door you come to the open-plan living area with kitchen, dining table, sofa and television. From here, a hallway opens into the sleeping area with a double bedroom and a twin bedroom with joinable beds, two bathrooms with shower and a utility room with washing machine. From the living area a French window opens onto the furnished veranda overlooking the garden. From the garden a flight of steps goes down to the large garage with vehicle access from Via Ballerina. Cars, motorbikes and bicycles can be parked here and there is also an electric car charging point.

Park:

Once past the entrance gate, a gravel, car-parking area precedes the portico with the main door to the villa, beyond which is the large lawn surrounding the swimming pool which, equipped with sunbeds, is transformed into a solarium. On either side of the completely-fenced, 1.200 sq m garden are laurel hedges, lavender bushes, herbs, fruit trees and roses surrounding the tool shed, that precede the stone walkway which leads to the last, sloping-down, part of the garden where, in honour of the territory, is a small vine. The 360° panorama that can be admired from the garden of the villa is incomparable, as are the colours of the sunset, which gave rise to the name of the villa, with their breathtaking spectacle. Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.

Swimming Pool:

The swimming pool of Villa Tramonto Albese is located in the garden in front of the furnished veranda connected to the living area of the villa. Measuring 10 x 4 m with a constant depth of 150 cm, it has a resin cover. A jet of cascading water, the hydromassage jets and the outdoor hot and cold-water shower will all entice the Guest to spend the whole day between sunbathing and a dip in the pool. The salt system guarantees effective and natural water purification. Il will be open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October.

Villa Tramonto Albese is located in the municipality of Montelupo Albese, a small town in the Langhe that can be easily reached by car, along 17 km of state road after the Alba exit on the A33 motorway, or by train from the Alba railway station, 13 km away. In the vicinity of the villa are countless cooperative wineries and agricultural estates where you can learn about, taste and buy the fine wines of the area, primarily Barolo, Barbaresco and Nebbiolo. The imposing castles of the borghi of Serralunga d'Alba and Grinzane Cavour are about 10 km away while Alba, the white truffle capital, is 14 km away. Today, within the castle of Barolo (17 km) is the Enoteca Regionale of Barolo where the finest production of local wines is selected, the king of which is certainly the wine of the same name, Barolo DOCG. Just 23 km away is Barbaresco, heart of the production of the fine red wine of the same name, with theTorre di Barbaresco, the largest medieval tower in all of Piedmont, from whose terrace can be seen the ordered rows of vines, interrupted here and there by a castle, an estate or a farmhouse. Another interesting destination is Asti (52 km), with its towers scattered among districts and borghi, the Baroque of churches and palaces, the imposing 19th century porticoes and various glimpses of Art Nouveau style. Here, on the first Sunday of September, the traditional Palio di Asti takes place, the first certain historical records of which date back to the year 1275. Turin (85 km) is one of the most fascinating cities, home to palaces and royal residences where famous personalities have literally made the history of Italy. Not to be missed is the Borgo Medievale, a true open-air museum immersed in the lush greenery of the Valentino Park, a stone's throw from the river Po and the Egyptian Museum which, in terms of value and quantity of finds, is the most important in the world after the one in Cairo. Not to be missed, a visit to the Royal Palace in Piazza Castello before moving on to Venaria Reale, the immense complex of palaces and gardens declared World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1997.

Tutto perfetto, dalla proprietaria la signora Rose Maria che è stata gentilissima con un presente culinario al ns arrivo e nel far i trovare la casa calda ed equipaggiata di tutti i confort. Eravamo in 4 persone nel periodo di capodanno e devo dire che la vista a 360gradi sulle Montagne innevate la piscina scoperta illuminata ,una parte dell'esterno con uno spazio fumatori con un fungo elettrico che devo dire fantastico.
