Description:

PRIVATE STRUCTURE (lease only). La Vigna is a delightful country house, immersed in lush greenery and located amongst the enchanting landscapes of the Valdarno and the Valdambra. Located in the municipality of Bucine, the property is about two kilometres from the town with all services. Guests can relax in the well-kept garden with a play area and a swimming pool, equipped with lighting, from which to admire the magical atmosphere of sunset. The air-conditioned veranda, set up as a living area, allows guests to enjoy pleasant meals in a cosy environment, during both hot and cold periods. The strategic position of the property allows you to take day trips to renowned destinations such as Siena, Florence and Arezzo. It also offers the opportunity to explore the typical areas of Chianti and the Val d'Orcia.

LA VIGNA HAS BEEN SUBJECTED TO A CHECK-UP BY A TECHNICAL RESPONSIBLE BEFORE THE BEGINNING OF THE SEASON, TO ENSURE CONSISTENCY OF THE DESCRIPTION, ACCESSORIES LISTED ON THIS PAGE AND THEIR PRESENT STATE OF OPERATION/MAINTENANCE, TO GUARANTEE QUALITY, CLEANLINESS AND COMFORTS TO ALL CLIENTS WHO WILL STAY HERE.

Interior:

La Vigna has just one floor. The main entrance leads into the sitting room with fireplace, with the kitchen opposite and then, continuing on, you come to the veranda with the dining area and direct access to the garden. Along a corridor communicating with the living area is a double bedroom with French window leading out to the garden, a twin bedroom with joinable beds and a bathroom with shower. In an annex adjacent to the main entrance is the laundry room.

Park:

The level terrain of the fenced park (h 1.60m) of La Vigna, surrounded by a laurel hedge, is planted mainly with lawn and dotted with tall, shady trees and bushes of herbs. On the lawn surrounding the house is the swimming pool with adjacent gazebo that provides shade to a seating area; a few steps away is a brick structure with barbecue, while a dining area has been set up in the loggia in front of the main entrance. On one side of the house is a play area with a five-a-side football field with two goalposts. The manually-opening entrance gate leads to the parking area with two covered and two uncovered spaces. Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.

Swimming Pool:

Rectangular and measuring 7 x 4 m with a constant depth of 1.20 m, the swimming pool is lined in sand-coloured PVC and has chlorine purification, an internal spotlight and a metal ladder for access to the water. The surrounding paved area is equipped with sunbeds, umbrellas and a solar shower. The pool will be available from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October.

Location and distances


Bucine is located among the mounts of Chianti, of the Upper Valdarno and the Valdichiana with the landscape characterised by a vibrant nature and the typical Tuscan countryside: hills cloaked in a dense vegetation of heather, juniper, holm oaks, arbutus, broom, tall trees and valleys rich in cultivated fields, vines and olive trees, the typical production of the area. The river running through the valley and the entire territory of Bucine is the Ambra which originates in the Monteluco mountains on the border with the territory of Siena,and then flows, after a course of 35 km, into the Arno. Its banks have always been inhabited and still visible today are the mills and bridges near which villages and churches have sprung up. Moving away, the landscape changes: the hills covered by dense woods give way to villages, cultivated fields, vineyards and olive groves. Within easy reach of the property are the beauties of the Valdambra, the castles in the surrounding area and those of Chianti, the cities of Siena, Arezzo and Florence, as well as many other places of art and places immersed in nature.
