Description:

Nestled in the green hills of the Valdarno, Valleverde is a pleasant and secluded country residence, ideal for a holiday inspired by slow peaceful rhythms and dedicated to nature and relaxation. The renovation, carried out by the current owners according to the dictates of local tradition and with respect for the landscape and environmental characteristics, has produced a welcoming destination for nature lovers in its purest and simplest essence. The property, has a large gazebo in the park ideal for large groups and for celebrating events, is immersed in an estate that extends over thirty-six hectares and is framed by an authentic green lung of turkey oaks, holm oaks and olive trees, ideal for practising sports. Rows of vines also surround part of the structure, organised in apartments for two to six people but with large communal areas both indoors, such as the large dining room and the professional kitchen, and outdoors, such as the swimming pool and the park equipped for outdoor dining, fulfilling the need for sharing but also for independence and privacy. It is about 5 km from San Giovanni Valdarno, a place steeped in history and tradition, an authentic artistic treasure trove and the birthplace of one of the great masters of the Renaissance: Masaccio. The property is located in the heart of one of the most beautiful and varied landscapes in Tuscany, in the upper Valdarno area, between the Pratomagno ridge and the nearby Chianti region, a short distance from Florence and Arezzo, and just a few kilometres from the motorway, Autostrada del Sole, and the main tourist localities of Tuscany (the towns of Chianti, San Gimignano, Siena and all the renowned valleys that run through it). Here it will be possible to savour the delicious and authentic Tuscan food and wine products and to visit the stupendous nature reserves of Sant'Antonio and Vallombrosa and the particular area of the balze (crags) on foot and by bike.

Interior:

The Valleverde complex consists of a main building and three annexes. MAIN BUIlDING. A few metres from the entrance gate is the entrance to the ground floor with a large living room with dining table and a sitting room with fireplace which enjoys double access with glass doors overlooking the surrounding garden. A large hallway leads to the professionally-equipped kitchen. The floor is completed by a reception area and a guest bathroom. Adjacent to the reception area are the stairs up to the first floor with the sleeping area consisting of three double bedrooms (one with divisible bed) with ensuite bathroom with shower, a double bedroom (with divisible bed) and a twin bedroom (with joinable beds) sharing a bathroom with shower. ANNEX 1. It consists of a large dining room with kitchenette and three large double bedrooms (two of which with divisible beds) with en suite bathroom with shower. It has an equipped porch with exit from both the kitchen and one of the bedrooms. ANNEX 2. It consists of a kitchenette with access to an equipped porch, a double bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower. ANNEX 3. It is accessed via the entrance raised by five steps and consists of a living room with kitchenette, two double bedrooms with divisible beds and two adjacent bathrooms with shower.

Park:

Mainly lawned, the garden is an explosion of colours of Mediterranean vegetation that blends in with the surrounding landscape where each apartment has its own equipped green space. Entirely fenced, the garden covers an area of about one hectare and consists of large communal areas such as the dining area with an adjacent double barbecue, the solarium bordered by a large hedge with gate and a parking area for more than 20 cars entirely shaded by thick vegetation. Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.

Swimming Pool:

Open from the last Saturday of April to the first Saturday of October, the pool is fenced and has an easy access with internal stairs leading to a first pool with shallow water, suitable for very young children, and then to the large rectangular pool. The dimensions of the large pool are 14 x 10 meters with a constant depth of 1.20 meters. The interior is lined with blue tiles, and it is chlorinated. All around the pool is the large solarium area, fully equipped with a cold-water shower and a gazebo with sunbeds, chairs and tables.

Location and distances


The property is located in a fortunate geographical position, thanks to which connections to the many places of historical, artistic and food and wine interest are ensured by an excellent road and motorway network. The motorway is just a few minutes away, as is the Chianti road which, crossing through the many picturesque villages along its route, leads to Siena and Florence. The house is also easily accessible from the airports of the region, first and foremost that of Florence, located a few kilometres away. Furthermore, it is served by two railway stations that connect it directly with the main cities, thus avoiding the problem of parking. Leisure activities and large shopping centres are within easy reach in the nearby towns of Loro Ciuffenna and Montevarchi. Finally, for those who do not want to miss out on the experience of quality shopping, just a short distance from the house are numerous important outlets with big names such as The Mall, Dolce and Gabbana, Prada. Finally, half an hour from Florence, is the other major outlet of Barberino del Mugello.
