It is the result of the renovation of an old agricultural farm, of which it has maintained the charm and typical characteristics: the exposed stone that covers the exterior and the splendid rib-vaulted brick ceilings present in the large elegant living room on the ground floor. The house is fully air-conditioned and has five large bedrooms with private bathroom. All around the house, the well-tended vegetation of the panoramic garden, the suggestive, jasmine-shaded pergola equipped with wood oven and barbecue and, finally, the swimming pool located in the most panoramic point will frame your days spent in the tranquillity of the Tuscan countryside. The house is located in an independent position in the prestigious setting of the Tenuta Tolaini, an organic vineyard and winery, one of the most prestigious in the area, which extends over 50 hectares of fertile land that every year gives life to a delicious extra virgin olive oil and to a fine selection of wines exported all over the world and which can be tasted directly in the cellars of the estate, just a short distance from the house. We are a few kilometres from Siena and the borgo of Castelnuovo Berardenga with the surroundings offering an unparalleled quantity of destinations to explore: Volpaia, Panzano, Gaiole and Greve will offer breathtaking picture postcard views and a unique range of artistic, historical and eno-gastronomical possibilities. Daily excursions, facilitated by the beautiful panoramic roads, will take you to Florence, San Gimignano or Volterra, all within easy reach. Note: Within the park live the friendly and helpful caretakers who, discreetly and courteously, take care of the garden and swimming pool which are for the exclusive use of guests.

VILLA SIENA HAS BEEN SUBJECTED TO A CHECK-UP BY A TECHNICAL RESPONSIBLE BEFORE THE BEGINNING OF THE SEASON, TO ENSURE CONSISTENCY OF THE DESCRIPTION, ACCESSORIES LISTED ON THIS PAGE AND THEIR PRESENT STATE OF OPERATION/MAINTENANCE, TO GUARANTEE QUALITY, CLEANLINESS AND COMFORTS TO ALL CLIENTS WHO WILL STAY HERE.

Interior:

The house has two floors connected by an internal staircase. The ground floor consists of the living area with sitting room, dining area and large kitchen with central island that open out onto the garden and the furnished outdoor pergola. The floor is completed by a double bedroom served by a bathroom with shower. On the second floor, around a little relaxation room, are the master bedroom with walk-in closet and ensuite bathroom with whirlpool tub, two double bedrooms with ensuite bathroom with shower, and a twin bedroom with ensuite bathroom with tub. The laundry area is located in an annex in front of the house.

Park:

The park (partially fenced) is part of the Tenuta Tolaini and consists of a well-kept, green garden enriched with olive and lemon trees, lavender, rosemary and a frame of low hedges that, from the entrance gate, leads to the set-up areas and parking area. The splendid panoramic pergola in front of the house, covered by climbing jasmine and equipped with a gas barbecue, wood oven and sink, is the ideal spot for dining outdoors or just relaxing in the shade, with the complicity of a context of guaranteed quiet. There are two parking areas available, one of which is conveniently close to the main entrance. Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.

Swimming Pool:

The rectangular swimming pool, open from the last Saturday of April until the first Saturday of October, is located in an area at the back of the house that offers a scenario of particular charm over a backdrop of vines that surround the property. It is reached from the house, or from the adjacent pergola, across the flat lawn. Measuring 5 x 15 m with a constant depth of 1.80 m, it is lined in PVC, has chlorine purification, a diving board and Roman steps for access to the water. The sunbathing area on the surrounding lawn is equipped with sun beds, umbrellas and a warm-water shower. In the annex located a few metres from the pool is a gym and a bathroom with shower.

The historical region of Chianti is located right in the centre of Tuscany, between the towns of Florence to the north, Siena to the south and Arezzo to the east, and is made up of the villages of Castellina in Chianti, Radda in Chianti and Gaiole in Chianti. This area is a particularly important pole of attraction for the vast historical evidence of a past that dates back to the Etruscan era. In addition, the prestige that this area had in the Renaissance period is testified by the numerous medieval castles, all perfectly preserved, which you can meet along the famous “strada dei castelli” (road of castles). The Chianti countryside is perfect for horseback riding in the tranquillity of the vast network of paths and dirt roads that wind through the woods and hills, and also allows visitors to explore the food and wine wealth that characterises this area. The airports of Florence, Pisa and Rome allow easy access to the region, as well as the A1 motorway which, with the exits of Firenze Impruneta and Valdichiana, easily connects the borghi of the Chianti area, Radda, Greve, Castellina, Volpaia etc. to the rest of Tuscany. The nearest railway station is that of Siena.
