RECEPTIVE STRUCTURE. Monticchia is a beautiful house set inside quiet, green woodland in the hilly area of Sarteano. This charming property with its romantic, characteristic scenery is appreciable in every season of the year. The stone structure fits in perfectly with the surrounding countryside, giving guests the fairy tale impression of a dream home. The interior is stylish and very original with a warm and welcoming atmosphere where guests quickly feel at ease. A further strong point is certainly the location of this house, which allows guests to quickly reach the nearby characteristic borghi like Sarteano, Radicofani, Pienza, Chianciano Terme, Montepulciano and the beautiful art cities of Tuscany such as Siena, Arezzo and Florence. Please Note: when the property is rented in this solution no other guests will be present on site.

Interior:

The main house has two floors, connected by internal and external staircases ( tha external staircase leads directly to the double bedroom on the 1st floor). The entrance to the ground floor opens into a spacious dining room communicating with the sitting room and kitchen on the right. In the dining room a terracotta staircase leads up to the first floor: here we find a TV room, a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with tub, a twin bedroom with joinable beds with en-suite bathroom with shower and a twin bedroom with joinable beds with an adjacent bathroom with tub.

Park:

The wooded area surrounding the residence presents a unique setting, inundated with seasonal scents and stunning colours. The green, well-kept garden is spread over an area of 5000 square meters and is full of trees, flowers and herbs. The big oak tree not far from the house is the ideal place to relax with a good glass of wine. Opposite the main entrance of the house, on a lower terrace, is the panoramic swimming pool overlooking the characteristic Tuscan hills in all their splendour. Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.

Swimming Pool:

The rectangular-shaped swimming pool is 20 metres from the house, on a lower terrace, and is reached directly from the garden. It is situated to the side of the house and is visible from the portico. The pool (fanced) measures 7 x 14 m with a depth varying from 1,50 to 2,50 m; access to the water is via large steps. It is lined in blue PVC and has chlorine purification. The solarium area, equipped with sunbeds and umbrella, is paved in terracotta and travertine marble.

Expensive but we got what we paid for. We had no noise from anywhere. The staff were lovely. We paid for privacy and peace.

Excellent team. Any issues got addressed immediately eg door lock issue, power cut- fixed in moments of notifying team. Would highly recommend Emma Villa’s for their service.

ZER0DEP COVER - by EuropAssistance (Mandatory) 49€ each reservation The new "Zer0Dep" guarantee protects you and allows you to have a tranquil holiday. Zer0Dep stands for "Zero deposit"; it is an insurance coverage developed in partnership with EuropAssistance which replaces the security deposit and which is therefore mandatory. The benefits of this guarantee are: you do not pay the security deposit on arrival: neither in cash nor by immobilising a substantial amount on your credit card limit;
  • you are protected in the case of eventual damage to the property caused accidentally during your stay (up to the maximum limit of 1500 euro);
  • you avoid any dispute on the responsibility of the damage and its quantification during check-out;
  • you can enjoy your villa holiday in greater tranquillity.
