The renovation has equipped the interior with cosy bedrooms, renovated bathrooms and a spacious living area with a rustic kitchen. Surrounded by the silvery foliage of a sea of olive trees, the fully-equipped garden with living areas for relaxing outdoors, and the panoramic swimming pool with a wonderful view over the peaceful green surrounding countryside, guarantee unforgettable moments of peace and relaxation in an intimate and secluded atmosphere. From the property, nearby shopping centres and main road links are within easy reach, and you can undertake numerous itineraries in the pursuit of culture, typical gastronomy and art towards the major cities of Tuscany, such as Siena, Florence and Arezzo, but also of nearby Umbria, such as Perugia, Assisi and Orvieto. Interior:
The house has two floors. Crossing the veranda, where the ping pong table is located, you come to the main door and from here to the living room consisting of a large sitting area with fireplace and a dining area. The living room is connected to the kitchen (with adjoining pantry and laundry room) and to a guest bathroom. Going up to the first floor you come to a study and the sleeping area, consisting of a twin bedroom (with joinable beds) and three double bedrooms with ensuite bathroom with shower. One of the double bedrooms has a divisible bed.
Park:
In the property, consisting of about 2 hectares of park, and bordered by a large expanse of olive trees along the side of the main door and then along the entire perimeter of the garden, lawn areas and stone surfaces alternate, dotted with fruit trees and flowers. In front of the French windows leading into the house is a large pergola covered with climbing wisteria and set up as a dining area; next to it is an annex with a large stone barbecue. In a panoramic area of the park is a lounge corner perfect for admiring the sunset on the hills around Cortona. Next to the entrances to the house is a parking area.
Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.
Swimming Pool:
Open from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October, the rectangular swimming pool is set in a splendid panoramic position at the back of the house, which is about 30 m away, and can be reached down a short path. Measuring 8 x 4 m with the depth varying from 1.20 to 2.20 m, the pool is lined in clear PVC with a stone border, and has salt-based purification, an internal spotlight and a ladder for access to the water. In the surrounding sunbathing area are sunbeds and an umbrella.
