Description:

PRIVATE STRUCTURE (lease only). Torre Ginestre is set on a 582 m hight knoll, right to the outer edge of the city of Arezzo. It is located among the green hills facing the beautiful Casentino Valley, which is rich in history, local specialties, and centuries-old woods, it is one of the most yearned destinations for hikers and nature enthusiasts. The leading role here is played by the beautiful landscape surrounding the property: as a matter of fact, any point of the house offers a view on the immense skyline, beautiful when lit up by the city lights showing the entire valley together with Arezzo, and the other visible towns on the horizon. The property, completely renovated, is made up of three comfortable units; in the main unit, there is a well-arranged, spacious professional kitchen that is perfect for families and groups of friends that even outside will be able to enjoy the equipped spaces. The annex has a spa with lacuzzi, sauna and a small gym. The external eating areas are equipped with barbecue and pizza oven. The property is also equipped with a playground for children and a private pool. The historic city center of Arezzo, famous for its artists and their art pieces, is only located at 9 Km and it is reachable within a few minutes' drive. Also, not far away from the property, there are the motorway and a train station which will allow you to easily reach and discover the beautiful surroundings of both Tuscany and Umbria (Siena, Florence, Cortona, Sansepolcro, Perugia, and many other cities). On a separate wing of the property, with independent and private garden, live the owners, who will be at disposal for any requirements of the guests.

Interior:

The property extends for about 300 square meters and it includes both the main building and the annex, which is at about 30 m from it and is provided with a small spa with private gym, Jacuzzi, sauna and a bathroom with shower. The farmhouse is made up of the main unit, and a non-adjoining apartment with independent entrance. Four steps lead to the entrance of the main unit, which is built on two levels. The main entrance leads to the living room, a guest bathroom with washing machine, and the big kitchen with its outdoor porch and eating area. A stone staircase from the living room leads to the first floor, where you will find the sleeping area made up of two double bedrooms (one bedroom has dividable beds), both provided with en-suite bathrooms with shower. APARTMENT 1. An iron staircase next to the main entrance of the building leads to the first floor on one side of the property, where beyond the pergola there is the apartment entrance reachable through few more steps; this apartment is made up of a living room provided with satellite TV, kitchen with wood oven, double bedroom (with dividable beds), en-suite bathroom with shower and another double bedroom also provided with a bathroom with shower. APARTMENT 2. It is located on one side of the house, next to the entrance road. It is made up of a large living room with and two double bedrooms (both with outdoor access through French windows) serviced by two bathrooms with shower (one is an en-suite bathroom). The living area completes the apartment.

Park:

The farmhouse is surrounded by 3.5 hectares of land, which include the woods bordering with the backside of the park - ideal for walks or even for sports activities being immersed in nature. The park of the property extends for about 2 hectares, and it includes around 1800 square meters of green and fruit trees, who create naturally shaded areas where you can sit and relax, enjoying the beautiful panoramic view over the hills. The main kitchen’s porch is equipped for alfresco breakfasts, while the upper floor pergola is fully equipped with a sitting area, a table, and a stone-built barbecue. The pergola is located in a comfortable area: right next to the kitchen of the first-floor apartment, equipped with a pizza oven. In the vicinity of the pool area, Near the pool area, the ping pong table is located under a gazebo and a swing right under a big oath’s shade there is also a lovely kids playhouse for the children. The property has a parking area. Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.

Swimming Pool:

At approximately 50 m from the property, reachable through a flat path, there is the big panoramic pool, right in the middle of a vast grassy surface. The rectangular-shaped pool, with PVC covering, measures 6 x 14 m and has an increasing depth that goes from 0,90 m to 2,90 m. The pool can be entered either by four submerged steps, or using the trampoline. The pool is salt purified and is provided with both internal and external lightning system. All around the pool, there are beach chairs and 2 pergolas. The pool is open from the last Saturday of April until the first Saturday of October.

About three kilometres from the historic town centre of Arezzo, in Tuscany, the house is in an ideal location for visiting this typical town of Etruscan origin, full of churches, museums and churches, birthplace of famous artists like Vasari, Petrarch, Michelangelo and Masaccio. The medieval town centre of the city is flanked by the numerous 16th century buildings of great importance, among which stand out the old Cathedral, the Town Hall and the Medici Fortress. Of particular importance are the churches and the artistic masterpieces stored in them: worthy of a visit is the Church of Santa Maria della Pieve and the Church of San Domenico, with the wooden crucifix painted by Cimabue, and again the Basilica of San Francesco frescoed by Piero della Francesca. The most important antiques fair in Italy is held once a month just inside the 13th century walls of the old borgo. Located on a gentle slope at the junction of the valleys of the Casentino, Tiber, Valdarno and Valdichiana, crossed by numerous watercourses, alternating with plains, hills and mountains, the city also enjoys a landscape heritage of great importance, rich in green routes through parks and protected nature reserves. The excellent road connections permit you to explore with ease the numerous characteristic borghi in the area, like Anghiari and Sansepolcro, or in Chianti, like Gaiole and Radda or to get to the main art cities of Tuscany and Umbria, like Florence, Siena, Cortona and Perugia. The A1 motorway is about 13km from the property, while about 5 km away is the railway station of Arezzo with direct connections to Florence and Rome. Yes, the property was again perfect this year when we returned with friends after our first visit in 2021. "Torre Ginestre" is designed as a real home not so much as a holiday home. You feel that in every corner and detail of the house in all three apartments as well as in the garden and at the pool. Not only is everything fantastically furnished and the property is paradise, but the amenities are perfect. A super bonus: the landlords are an incredible nice family of perfect hosts.

Honestly speaking we thought about that in the group of people who was there for this holiday and we could really not think about anything to be changed. All typical holiday home shortcomings do not apply to "Torre Ginestre": you have a fully equipped kitchen for 12 people, very comfortable beds, fully renovated bathrooms, a little gym, even an additional fridge near the pool, a nice barbecue place etc.

Description:

PRIVATE STRUCTURE (lease only). Torre Ginestre is set on a 582 m hight knoll, right to the outer edge of the city of Arezzo. It is located among the green hills facing the beautiful Casentino Valley, which is rich in history, local specialties, and centuries-old woods, it is one of the most yearned destinations for hikers and nature enthusiasts. The leading role here is played by the beautiful landscape surrounding the property: as a matter of fact, any point of the house offers a view on the immense skyline, beautiful when lit up by the city lights showing the entire valley together with Arezzo, and the other visible towns on the horizon. The property, completely renovated, is made up of three comfortable units; in the main unit, there is a well-arranged, spacious professional kitchen that is perfect for families and groups of friends that even outside will be able to enjoy the equipped spaces. The annex has a spa with lacuzzi, sauna and a small gym. The external eating areas are equipped with barbecue and pizza oven. The property is also equipped with a playground for children and a private pool. The historic city center of Arezzo, famous for its artists and their art pieces, is only located at 9 Km and it is reachable within a few minutes' drive. Also, not far away from the property, there are the motorway and a train station which will allow you to easily reach and discover the beautiful surroundings of both Tuscany and Umbria (Siena, Florence, Cortona, Sansepolcro, Perugia, and many other cities). On a separate wing of the property, with independent and private garden, live the owners, who will be at disposal for any requirements of the guests.

Interior:

The property extends for about 300 square meters and it includes both the main building and the annex, which is at about 30 m from it and is provided with a small spa with private gym, Jacuzzi, sauna and a bathroom with shower. The farmhouse is made up of the main unit, and a non-adjoining apartment with independent entrance. Four steps lead to the entrance of the main unit, which is built on two levels. The main entrance leads to the living room, a guest bathroom with washing machine, and the big kitchen with its outdoor porch and eating area. A stone staircase from the living room leads to the first floor, where you will find the sleeping area made up of two double bedrooms (one bedroom has dividable beds), both provided with en-suite bathrooms with shower. APARTMENT 1. An iron staircase next to the main entrance of the building leads to the first floor on one side of the property, where beyond the pergola there is the apartment entrance reachable through few more steps; this apartment is made up of a living room provided with satellite TV, kitchen with wood oven, double bedroom (with dividable beds), en-suite bathroom with shower and another double bedroom also provided with a bathroom with shower. APARTMENT 2. It is located on one side of the house, next to the entrance road. It is made up of a large living room with and two double bedrooms (both with outdoor access through French windows) serviced by two bathrooms with shower (one is an en-suite bathroom). The living area completes the apartment.

Park:

The farmhouse is surrounded by 3.5 hectares of land, which include the woods bordering with the backside of the park - ideal for walks or even for sports activities being immersed in nature. The park of the property extends for about 2 hectares, and it includes around 1800 square meters of green and fruit trees, who create naturally shaded areas where you can sit and relax, enjoying the beautiful panoramic view over the hills. The main kitchen’s porch is equipped for alfresco breakfasts, while the upper floor pergola is fully equipped with a sitting area, a table, and a stone-built barbecue. The pergola is located in a comfortable area: right next to the kitchen of the first-floor apartment, equipped with a pizza oven. In the vicinity of the pool area, Near the pool area, the ping pong table is located under a gazebo and a swing right under a big oath’s shade there is also a lovely kids playhouse for the children. The property has a parking area. Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.

Swimming Pool:

At approximately 50 m from the property, reachable through a flat path, there is the big panoramic pool, right in the middle of a vast grassy surface. The rectangular-shaped pool, with PVC covering, measures 6 x 14 m and has an increasing depth that goes from 0,90 m to 2,90 m. The pool can be entered either by four submerged steps, or using the trampoline. The pool is salt purified and is provided with both internal and external lightning system. All around the pool, there are beach chairs and 2 pergolas. The pool is open from the last Saturday of April until the first Saturday of October.

About three kilometres from the historic town centre of Arezzo, in Tuscany, the house is in an ideal location for visiting this typical town of Etruscan origin, full of churches, museums and churches, birthplace of famous artists like Vasari, Petrarch, Michelangelo and Masaccio. The medieval town centre of the city is flanked by the numerous 16th century buildings of great importance, among which stand out the old Cathedral, the Town Hall and the Medici Fortress. Of particular importance are the churches and the artistic masterpieces stored in them: worthy of a visit is the Church of Santa Maria della Pieve and the Church of San Domenico, with the wooden crucifix painted by Cimabue, and again the Basilica of San Francesco frescoed by Piero della Francesca. The most important antiques fair in Italy is held once a month just inside the 13th century walls of the old borgo. Located on a gentle slope at the junction of the valleys of the Casentino, Tiber, Valdarno and Valdichiana, crossed by numerous watercourses, alternating with plains, hills and mountains, the city also enjoys a landscape heritage of great importance, rich in green routes through parks and protected nature reserves. The excellent road connections permit you to explore with ease the numerous characteristic borghi in the area, like Anghiari and Sansepolcro, or in Chianti, like Gaiole and Radda or to get to the main art cities of Tuscany and Umbria, like Florence, Siena, Cortona and Perugia. The A1 motorway is about 13km from the property, while about 5 km away is the railway station of Arezzo with direct connections to Florence and Rome. Yes, the property was again perfect this year when we returned with friends after our first visit in 2021. "Torre Ginestre" is designed as a real home not so much as a holiday home. You feel that in every corner and detail of the house in all three apartments as well as in the garden and at the pool. Not only is everything fantastically furnished and the property is paradise, but the amenities are perfect. A super bonus: the landlords are an incredible nice family of perfect hosts.

Honestly speaking we thought about that in the group of people who was there for this holiday and we could really not think about anything to be changed. All typical holiday home shortcomings do not apply to "Torre Ginestre": you have a fully equipped kitchen for 12 people, very comfortable beds, fully renovated bathrooms, a little gym, even an additional fridge near the pool, a nice barbecue place etc.

Zer0Dep stands for "Zero deposit"; it is an insurance coverage developed in partnership with EuropAssistance which replaces the security deposit and which is therefore mandatory. The benefits of this guarantee are: you do not pay the security deposit on arrival: neither in cash nor by immobilising a substantial amount on your credit card limit;
  • you are protected in the case of eventual damage to the property caused accidentally during your stay (up to the maximum limit of 1500 euro);
  • you avoid any dispute on the responsibility of the damage and its quantification during check-out;
