RECEPTIVE STRUCTURE. Le Antiche Pietre is a very nice property which has been recently restored, this property is situated in one natural park on the beautiful hillside of Tuoro which overlooks the Lake of Trasimeno. The restoration has been carefully carried out to the minimum detail to ensure the total comfort of its guests. The property is characterised by its breathtaking views and the dry stone walls that surround the garden. The most interesting point of the property is the large veranda furished with a new complete kitchen, dining area and living space. Its strategic border position, between Umbira and Tuscany, ensures that nowhere is too far, enabling day trips to historical cities such as Cortona, Siena, Montepulciano, Pienza, Perugia and Todi. For those that can’t resist relaxing nature walks, one can make the most of the surrounding countryside. Please Note: when the property is rented in this solution no other guests will be present on site.

Interior:

This property is divided onto two floors and is furnished in a very functional manner. From the main entrance one leads into the large spacious living room, equipped with sofa’s and a large wooden table. From the living room one leads into the fully equipped kitchen, a double bedroom next to which there is a bathroom with shower and washing machine. The first floor is only accessible via an external stone staircase or two comfortable ramps which lead from the garden. From the veranda, furnished with complete kitchen, dining area and external living, one can enter directly into the living room which is equipped with fireplace and the kitchen/dining room. From the living room, via two corridors one leads into the night zone. From the right hand corridor there are two double bedrooms each with internal bathroom with shower (one of the rooms is suitable also for disable people), whereas via the left hand corridor this leads to an additional twin bedroom (with joinable beds) and a bathroom with shower.

Park:

The property extends to over 12 hectares characterised by olive groves and forests. The surrounding area is a splendid lawn with terrace which leads to the swimming pool. A spacious veranda with views over the Lake of Trasimeno, ideal for an “al Fresco” dinners is located on the first floor. This large veranda has a complete built-in kitchen, barbecue, dining area with table and chairs and a living are furnished with sofas and table. The parking area, with ten spaces in the open, is located on the top of the property in the end of the driveway. Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.

Swimming Pool:

The fenced pool distances about 20 meters from the property, accessible via a staircase or a ramp. The pool measures 5 x 13 m with a constant depth of 1,40 m, the entrance in though steps and is open from the last Saturday of April to the first Saturday of October. The pool area is fenced and equipped with sun loungers, pool chairs and umbrellas. Also at guests disposal is an external shower. The access to the fenced pool, is through two gates. At about 5 m from the external kitchen there is a heated 6 people hydro-massage tub.

Location and distances


The property is located in a panoramic position at 2 kms away form Tuoro sul Trasimeno which can also be reached, for a pleasant walk, by foot in about 20 minutes. The beach of Tuoro has been nominated as best national lake beach of 2013. The Trasimeno Lake with its Hamlets, its natural countryside paths and its islands which are laid the middle of the lake is already a very interesting place for sightseeing, excursions and to practice water sports. The location is also ideal to visit both South Tuscany and Umbria being very well connected with the super way PERUGIA- SIENA. With stressful trip you can visit interesting Historical centres like Cortona, Siena, Perugia, Assisi, Todi and so on. Tuoro is also served by a railways station that will allowed guests to easily reach the major cities like Rome or Florence.

Easily accommodates 8-10. Beautifully furnished with everything needed for a week stay or longer. High end appliances with outdoor kitchen and eating places. Pool is large, good for lap swimming, with extraordinary view. Great value!

All was perfect. Teapot would be nice, but everything was shiny and very tasteful. This is clearly the home of an elegant family who treasures this beautiful property.

All was smooth and the follow up on our questions was timely. Very good service prior to arrival. The owners ware fantastic on check in and out. They made us very comfortable and were fun to talk to. They also sent us a welcoming tray of delicious local pastries. We were treated like family!

The owners were very friendly! The villa is beatifully situated with a marvellous view over the valley and lake. The outdoor kithen has everything you need and a little moore! We spent most of our time there. The house is furnished with a lot of wooden furniture wich makes it very nice and cozy. The pool area is wonderful! You can’t rent a better house!!

The outdoor kitchen and dining place with a view of the lake and the whole region was fantastic. And they became natural places for our two families to hang out and socialize throughout the day as well as night. The high altitude of the house up on the hillside makes the climate very nice and seldom to hot even on hot days. There was a mild breeze that made staying at the house very comfortable. The slight separation of the house and pool was also appreciated because it made noise and water spla

The view from the terrace is spectacular. The grounds are lovely. The villa was very clean. The owners were very nice and the welcome dinner was a lovely start to our holiday and made us feel welcome and at home. The downstairs Lounge and dining room was cool on very warm days. The broadband speed rate was ok at between 2-3 Mbps. Tuoro is only 4-5 KMs away for eating out and convenience shopping. The sense of seclusion coupled with an awesome view.

It would be impossible to change the road access because of the location of the villa but the road in from the highway was VERY difficult for us to negotiate. Part of the problem was the vehicle we had didn't have enough power to easily go up the hills.

The pictures truly do depict the property accurately. It was really spacious and we were able to make "suites" for our group so everyone had an on suite bath. The views are amazing. Loved having a dishwasher.

The knives and cooking utensils could be improved. We actually considered buying knives and a cutting board. The security system and so many keys was a bit stressful to keep up with. The alarm went off one night. We don't know why and no one came.

This is a wonderful property, beautiful gardens and pool with an outstanding view off the property. The owners could not have been nicer.

No, I think it is an absolutely lovely place. We would suggest that the owner stress the importance of locking all the doors at night. He did tell us, but we thought he meant when we were not in residence. Our fault, but luckily did not ruin our holiday.

Wonderful service. Marguerita was very helpful and responsive as was our local email contact. Villa was even more than advertised. We had an Italian speaking relative with us. Without her, I do believe that it would have been more difficulty since the owners speak only a little English. The owners were so delightful and accomodating that I know we would have still had a fabulous experience. It was an honor to be able to stay at their incredible villa. We enjoyed every minute of the stay.

Le Antiche Pietre is a very nice property which has been recently restored, this property is situated in one natural park on the beautiful hillside of Tuoro which overlooks the Lake of Trasimeno. The restoration has been carefully carried out to the minimum detail to ensure the total comfort of its guests. The property is characterised by its breathtaking views and the dry stone walls that surround the garden. The most interesting point of the property is the large veranda furished with a new complete kitchen, dining area and living space. Its strategic border position, between Umbira and Tuscany, ensures that nowhere is too far, enabling day trips to historical cities such as Cortona, Siena, Montepulciano, Pienza, Perugia and Todi. For those that can’t resist relaxing nature walks, one can make the most of the surrounding countryside. Please Note: when the property is rented in this solution no other guests will be present on site.

Interior:

This property is divided onto two floors and is furnished in a very functional manner. From the main entrance one leads into the large spacious living room, equipped with sofa’s and a large wooden table. From the living room one leads into the fully equipped kitchen, a double bedroom next to which there is a bathroom with shower and washing machine. The first floor is only accessible via an external stone staircase or two comfortable ramps which lead from the garden. From the veranda, furnished with complete kitchen, dining area and external living, one can enter directly into the living room which is equipped with fireplace and the kitchen/dining room. From the living room, via two corridors one leads into the night zone. From the right hand corridor there are two double bedrooms each with internal bathroom with shower (one of the rooms is suitable also for disable people), whereas via the left hand corridor this leads to an additional twin bedroom (with joinable beds) and a bathroom with shower.

Park:

The property extends to over 12 hectares characterised by olive groves and forests. The surrounding area is a splendid lawn with terrace which leads to the swimming pool. A spacious veranda with views over the Lake of Trasimeno, ideal for an “al Fresco” dinners is located on the first floor. This large veranda has a complete built-in kitchen, barbecue, dining area with table and chairs and a living are furnished with sofas and table. The parking area, with ten spaces in the open, is located on the top of the property in the end of the driveway. Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.

Swimming Pool:

The fenced pool distances about 20 meters from the property, accessible via a staircase or a ramp. The pool measures 5 x 13 m with a constant depth of 1,40 m, the entrance in though steps and is open from the last Saturday of April to the first Saturday of October. The pool area is fenced and equipped with sun loungers, pool chairs and umbrellas. Also at guests disposal is an external shower. The access to the fenced pool, is through two gates. At about 5 m from the external kitchen there is a heated 6 people hydro-massage tub.

Location and distances


The property is located in a panoramic position at 2 kms away form Tuoro sul Trasimeno which can also be reached, for a pleasant walk, by foot in about 20 minutes. The beach of Tuoro has been nominated as best national lake beach of 2013. The Trasimeno Lake with its Hamlets, its natural countryside paths and its islands which are laid the middle of the lake is already a very interesting place for sightseeing, excursions and to practice water sports. The location is also ideal to visit both South Tuscany and Umbria being very well connected with the super way PERUGIA- SIENA. With stressful trip you can visit interesting Historical centres like Cortona, Siena, Perugia, Assisi, Todi and so on. Tuoro is also served by a railways station that will allowed guests to easily reach the major cities like Rome or Florence.

Easily accommodates 8-10. Beautifully furnished with everything needed for a week stay or longer. High end appliances with outdoor kitchen and eating places. Pool is large, good for lap swimming, with extraordinary view. Great value!

All was smooth and the follow up on our questions was timely. Very good service prior to arrival. The owners ware fantastic on check in and out. They made us very comfortable and were fun to talk to. They also sent us a welcoming tray of delicious local pastries. We were treated like family!

The owners were very friendly! The villa is beatifully situated with a marvellous view over the valley and lake. The outdoor kithen has everything you need and a little moore! We spent most of our time there. The house is furnished with a lot of wooden furniture wich makes it very nice and cozy. The pool area is wonderful! You can’t rent a better house!!

The outdoor kitchen and dining place with a view of the lake and the whole region was fantastic. And they became natural places for our two families to hang out and socialize throughout the day as well as night. The view from the terrace is spectacular. The grounds are lovely. The villa was very clean. The owners were very nice and the welcome dinner was a lovely start to our holiday and made us feel welcome and at home. The downstairs Lounge and dining room was cool on very warm days. The pictures truly do depict the property accurately. It was really spacious and we were able to make "suites" for our group so everyone had an on suite bath. The views are amazing. Loved having a dishwasher.

The knives and cooking utensils could be improved. We actually considered buying knives and a cutting board. The security system and so many keys was a bit stressful to keep up with. The alarm went off one night. We don't know why and no one came.

This is a wonderful property, beautiful gardens and pool with an outstanding view off the property. The owners could not have been nicer.

No, I think it is an absolutely lovely place. We would suggest that the owner stress the importance of locking all the doors at night. He did tell us, but we thought he meant when we were not in residence. Our fault, but luckily did not ruin our holiday.

An amazing property. The house is spectacular, the views are extraordinary. Cannot imagine a better place to spend a vacation. The owner is warm and hospitable. This is most definitely a 10!

Wonderful service. Marguerita was very helpful and responsive as was our local email contact. Villa was even more than advertised. We had an Italian speaking relative with us. Without her, I do believe that it would have been more difficulty since the owners speak only a little English. The owners were so delightful and accomodating that I know we would have still had a fabulous experience. It was an honor to be able to stay at their incredible villa. We enjoyed every minute of the stay.

ZER0DEP COVER - by EuropAssistance (Mandatory) 49€ each reservation The new "Zer0Dep" guarantee protects you and allows you to have a tranquil holiday. Zer0Dep stands for "Zero deposit"; it is an insurance coverage developed in partnership with EuropAssistance which replaces the security deposit and which is therefore mandatory. The benefits of this guarantee are: you do not pay the security deposit on arrival: neither in cash nor by immobilising a substantial amount on your credit card limit;
  • you are protected in the case of eventual damage to the property caused accidentally during your stay (up to the maximum limit of 1500 euro);
  • you avoid any dispute on the responsibility of the damage and its quantification during check-out;
  • you can enjoy your villa holiday in greater tranquillity.
